Feed the Raccoon! — Beginning Sounds Sorting Activity
Sale Price: £2.99 Original Price: £3.49

There's a very hungry raccoon sitting in a barrel of apples, and he'll only eat the ones that start with his letter.

That's the whole game — and it's exactly why it works. Instead of another worksheet, your little one says each apple picture out loud, listens for the very first sound, and feeds the raccoon the four apples that match. Two cards in every set don't belong, so they're really listening, not just matching pictures. To them, it's play. Underneath, it's beginning sounds, vocabulary, sorting, speaking, and fine motor practice — the early building blocks of reading.

What's in the pack

Five raccoon letter mats (S, M, F, C and B) plus a blank mat to create your own, six apple-shaped picture cards for every letter sound, and blank apples for drawing your own pictures. When the game's done, five early-finisher pages keep the calm going: a "Find and Colour 10 Leaves" woodland scene, a "Who lives here?" drawing page, and three woodland colouring pages. A simple how-to guide is included too.

Formats included

You'll receive both A4 and US Letter PDFs, plus high-resolution PNG files of every page — an instant digital download, ready to print straight away.

How to use it

1. Print the mats and apple cards — plain paper is fine, card is lovely
2. Laminate if you'd like it to last (one round of cutting and it's made forever)
3. Choose a mat, lay out its six apples, and let your little one feed the raccoon
4. Early finishers head straight to the colouring and drawing pages

Why parents and teachers love it

- Phonics practice little ones ask for by name
- Ten calm, focused minutes with no screens and no pressure
- Laminate once, use all year — at home, in a literacy centre, or in a busy bag
- The blank mat means it grows with your child, letter by letter
- Prints properly in the UK and the US — both sizes included

Please note: this is a digital download — no physical product will be posted. Your files arrive by email straight after purchase (do check your junk folder if they're shy). Any trouble at all, email me at contact@funprintables4kids.com and I'll sort it out.

Autumn Colour & Learn Book — 30 Printable Colouring & Nature Activity Pages for Ages 4–7

Autumn Colour & Learn Book — 30 Printable Colouring & Nature Activity Pages for Ages 4–7
£4.99

‍ A whole autumn day of quiet, screen-free colouring and learning — from waking up to bedtime.

‍When the afternoons draw in and the rain sets in, it helps to have something ready to print that will keep little ones happily busy for more than five minutes. This Autumn Colour & Learn Book is 30 pages of hand-drawn woodland friends, autumn treasures and gentle learning activities, made for children aged 4–7 to colour, count, spot, draw and chat their way through.

‍The pages follow a soft story arc, so it feels like a book rather than a pile of worksheets. A sleepy squirrel wakes up, the friends have breakfast together, there's a scavenger hunt in the leaves, apple bobbing, an apple pie, a toffee apple, and finally a bedtime story. Children want to see what happens next, which means they keep going.

What's in the book

‍Twenty-one colouring pages featuring the woodland friends — squirrel, hedgehog, owl, fox and robin — in scenes like Time to wake up, Breakfast time, Swinging squirrel, Cosy corner, Reading time, Apple pie, Toadstool, Friendly fox, Autumn harvest, Warm and cosy, Hibernating hedgehog, Apple bobbing, Gathering for winter, Toffee apple and Bedtime story, plus a full page of autumn leaves to colour.

‍Nine learning and nature activities: Who is getting ready for autumn? (colour the animals and talk about how each one prepares for colder weather), Count the autumn treasures, an Autumn Scavenger Hunt to take outside, What should we wear for a rainy walk?, an Autumn pattern path, Autumn Spot the difference, and three draw-your-own pages — Who could live here?, Who lives here? and What can you see in autumn?

‍There's a grown-up answer guide at the back and a "You Did It!" page to finish on, because a small sense of achievement matters at this age.

‍ ‍

Formats included

‍You'll receive two PDF files: A4 for UK and European printers and US Letter for the US and Canada. Each is 34 pages (30 activity pages plus cover, terms, answer guide and finishing page), in clean black-and-white line art that prints well on any home printer.

‍ ‍

How to use it

  1. Download your PDF straight after checkout (it arrives by email).

  2. Print the whole book or just the pages you need today.

  3. Hand over the crayons and let them lose themselves in it.

  4. Print it again whenever you need it — siblings, rainy days, the classroom, next autumn.

Why parents and teachers love it

-        Ten quiet minutes (or forty) while they're happily busy — and a hot cup of tea for you

-        Colouring, counting, patterns and spotting build fine motor skills, early maths and attention without it feeling like work

-        The "talk about it" prompts turn colouring time into real conversations about autumn and nature

-        Draw-your-own pages give children room to imagine, not just fill in

-        Hand-drawn woodland characters children fall in love with

-        Works for home, nursery, Reception and KS1 classrooms, home education and forest school topics

-        UK and US ready: A4 and US Letter included
