Starting school for the first time is a big moment — and a little excitement goes a long way in turning first-day nerves into first-day confidence. Little ones will colour in a "Welcome to School" classroom scene, circle the objects they'll spot in class, draw a picture of their teacher, and discover a few fun, reassuring facts about school. Once the activities are done, the page is cut out, the backpack pieces glued on as a cover, and the whole thing folds up accordion-style into its own tiny book.

How to use:
1. Print Page 1 — as many copies as you need for your family or classroom
2. Let your child cut out the mini book and the two backpack pieces
3. Glue the backpack pieces to the two end tabs and allow to dry
4. Using the dotted lines as a guide, fold up the mini book accordion-style
5. Let your child complete the activities and enjoy their new mini book!
