The No-Nag Chore Tracker — a chore chart that finally does the maths for you
There's a particular kind of tired that comes from doing chore-chart maths at the end of a long week — trying to remember who did what, adding it all up, working out what's owed. The No-Nag Chore Tracker exists to take that one job off your plate.
It's an editable spreadsheet, built to work in both Google Sheets and Excel, that automatically totals every child's points as the week goes on and automatically works out exactly what's owed the moment a reward is chosen. You tick, it counts. They pick a reward, it deducts. No calculator, no notebook, no arguments about whether the number's right.
What's in the pack:
24 original, hand-illustrated chores split into two categories — Household Chores and Bedtime & Self-Care Routine — covering everything from making beds and feeding pets to brushing teeth and bedtime story time
A dedicated tab for up to 4 children, each with a 7-day tick grid that totals itself automatically
A shared Points Bank tracking every child's running balance and reward history in one place
4 ready-made, fully editable rewards, each with its own icon and point cost
Automatic point deduction the instant a reward is chosen from the drop-down — nothing typed in by hand
A Quick Start tab with plain-English setup instructions and step-by-step guidance on resetting the tracker each week without losing a single formula
Formats included: One .xlsx file compatible with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (simply upload to Google Drive to use it there). Works beautifully on a laptop, desktop, or tablet.
How to use it:
Open the file, click ‘download’ or c’reate a copy’ in your own copy, add your children's names to the Points Bank
Let each child tick off their own chores through the week on their own tab
Watch the weekly total calculate itself — no adding up needed
When a reward's earned, log it in the Points Bank and choose it from the drop-down
The points owed are worked out and deducted automatically
When Monday comes round again, clear the ticks in a couple of clicks — every formula, icon and point value stays put
Why parents love it:
No more nightly disagreements about whether the chore count adds up - the spreadsheet settles it
Properly built for more than one child, with a genuine tab-per-child structure rather than a single-child template stretched thin
Nothing to install, no account for your child, no ongoing subscription
One purchase, used every week, with nothing to reprint or replace
Warm, hand-drawn artwork that makes chores feel a little less like a chore
Straightforward enough to set up in around 5 minutes, whatever your comfort level with spreadsheets
Digital download notice: This is an instant digital download — no physical product is shipped. Your file will be emailed to you automatically as soon as your order is confirmed. Please check your spam or junk folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes. Got a question first? I'm always happy to help — contact@funprintables4kids.com.
